I had to research everything on my own. He and his agents rarely showed up for meetings on time or at all. He encouraged me to sell my house for less than it was worth and didn’t really try to negotiate a higher price. He cost me over $50k in financial losses, because his company also helped me buy my next home where I paid far more than it was worth! The house I purchased is a money pit! His company told me it was good. After I closed on the house I found out that all of the faucets were leaking and had to be replaced. I bought the house a year ago and so far I have put $50,000.00 into the house most of it was for repairs. So far I have had to replace the water main, all of the faucets, toilets, the air conditioning unit, all of the air ducts, and the garage door opener because it stopped working too! I also had to repair the sprinkler system. The roof and the water heater will need to be replaced soon too! The repair/remodel crew that he recommended to me was incompetent! They didn’t install the showers correctly. I asked them repeatedly to fix it and ended up having to hire a plumber to fix the showers. This crew also did not install the granite countertops correctly in my kitchen and did not do what I originally intended for them to do in the kitchen by creating more cabinet space and countertop space. I am an extremely unhappy customer!!! I trusted Jonathan Jacobs to refer me to professionals that could help with the remodel and instead he referred me to amateurs whose work has really made me unhappy.
